“Loyalty to the client and the law – it’s in my DNA. I specialise exclusively in criminal (procedural) law and sports (sanction) law. Fair play and a solid approach are of paramount importance to me, both in my professional life as a lawyer and in my role as a basketball referee in my spare time.

A rich education, a passion for the legal profession and an interest in sports cases have shaped me into the criminal lawyer I am today. After a degree in Business Management-Legal Practice and an internship at the Local Crime Investigation Department of Ghent, I was ready for a next step in criminal law. In 2015, I earned my Master of Laws at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I gained experience at Rieder & Verdonck law firm under the supervision of Hans Rieder and at Van Steenbrugge Advocaten.”
